WCA’s Officers and Directors meet monthly to plan and coordinate the work of the organization. WCA has been sustained through more than 60 years because of the volunteer leaders who serve for the betterment of our community. 

MAHALO to everyone who helped us honor and salute our First Responders - both during recent fires and with a community gathering.

We send a special warm aloha to the family of the late Steve Grasso - head of the Waiki’i 9 Alpha volunteer fire department - we are so grateful for his many - many - years of dedication to our community’s well-being.

We also extend a very warm MAHALO to James Hustace, who has now left the Board after serving as our President and team leader for a number of years - most notably thru the COVID pandemic when he led us in pivoting to become virtually connected to keep our families and neighbors safe and supported.

Finally, we thank Nancy Carr Smith for both her “can-do” dedication to our first responders and now taking on the WCA Presidency, and also to Lani Olsen-Chong for continuing to lead our amazing annual Christmas Twilight Parade that involves more than 1,000 community volunteers and partners!
